Mothers Union is a worldwide Christian organisation with almost 4  million members in 76 countries. Membership is open to anyone who has been baptised and who agrees with the Aim & Objectives of the Mothers Union, so our membership includes men and women, young or old, married or single, parent or not. Despite our worldwide strength and representation at global level, we are also a grassroots organisation, hence the phrase that Mothers Union is around the world, and around the corner.

On these pages you can learn more about Mothers Union, both worldwide and here in the Diocese of York. If you would like to receive email notification of updates to this site, please use this link to join our mailing list

NEW! May 2008

It's good to talk!

I've finally got around to sorting out a mailing list for Mothers' Union in The Diocese of York! I hope that you will use it to continue the discussions and the sharing of ideas, hopes, fears and dreams which always goes on at Council and at every other meeting I've ever been to - someone once said that the chat ("networking" to give it its posh title) is often the best and most informative bit about meetings and conferences!

SO CLICK HERE to go to a page which outlines how to join the mailing list, and a few pointers about how to use it. We hope that in time this will replace the current mailing list system (see left)which is a little limited.
